WHAT WE COLLECT
When you sign in with your Google account, we collect and store:
- Google Account ID — a unique identifier to link your account
- Email address — for account identification and support
- Display name (username) — chosen by you, shown on the leaderboard
We also store your game progress data: XP, scores, achievements, and leaderboard rankings.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
- Account identity — so you can sign in across devices and after reinstalling
- Leaderboard — to display your username and score publicly on the global leaderboard
- Customer support — to identify your account if you need help
- Prize distribution — to contact winners of any promotions or prize pools
HOW WE STORE IT
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers + D1 database). Google account authentication is handled directly through Google's OAuth service — we never see or store your Google password.
WHAT WE SHARE
- Your username and score are publicly visible on the leaderboard.
- Your email address is never shared publicly or sold to third parties.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data.
YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data — contact us to receive a copy
- Rectify inaccurate data — you can change your display name in-game
- Erasure ("Right to be forgotten") — you can delete your account and all associated data directly from the extension settings, or contact us
- Data portability — contact us to receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent — you can revoke access at any time by deleting your account
ACCOUNT DELETION
You can delete your account at any time from the extension. This permanently removes your Google ID, email, username, scores, and all game data from our servers. This action is irreversible.
COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE
The extension uses browser local storage to save your game preferences and progress locally on your device. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
CHILDREN
Magifenta is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
CHANGES
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension.
