1. ACCEPTANCE
By installing and using the Magifenta Chrome extension ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the extension.
2. THE SERVICE
Magifenta is a trivia quiz game that replaces your Chrome new tab page. It includes XP progression, achievements, a global leaderboard, daily and weekly challenges, and optional premium content packs.
3. ACCOUNTS
- You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service.
- You choose a display name (username) that is publicly visible on the leaderboard.
- Usernames must be 3–20 characters, alphanumeric and underscores only.
- Offensive, impersonating, or misleading usernames may be removed or changed at our discretion.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate the leaderboard is prohibited.
4. LEADERBOARD & FAIR PLAY
- The leaderboard ranks players by XP earned through answering trivia questions.
- Any form of cheating, automation, or score manipulation will result in account removal.
- We reserve the right to reset, modify, or remove leaderboard entries at our discretion.
5. PRIZES & PROMOTIONS
- From time to time, we may offer prizes (e.g., free content packs) for top leaderboard positions.
- Prize eligibility, rules, and distribution will be announced separately for each promotion.
- We reserve the right to verify accounts and disqualify suspected abuse before distributing prizes.
6. PREMIUM CONTENT
- Some content packs require purchase and are unlocked via a license key.
- Purchases are handled through Gumroad and are subject to their terms.
- License keys are tied to your Google account and cannot be transferred.
- We reserve the right to modify pricing and availability of premium content.
7. FEEDBACK & SUPPORT
- You may submit feedback or support messages via the in-app feedback panel.
- By submitting feedback, you grant us the right to use it to improve the Service.
- Support tips sent via the in-app support panel are voluntary and non-refundable.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All game content, images, code, and branding are owned by Magifenta. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the extension. User-generated content (usernames) must not infringe on others' intellectual property.
9. TERMINATION
- You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension.
- You may delete your account and data from within the extension.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or any damages arising from use of the Service.
11. CHANGES
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
